As she was setting up the table for lunch, I saw the sad expression on her face. I asked her why the sad face? She replied saying Nothing sir. But I insisted to know since she has been serving us for over a decade that she became part of the family. But she couldn't say a word since most of the family members were already seated. After lunch she was sitting with the other servants and they all went silent as I walked in. That's when she told me that she works hard everyday to support her husband and kids back in her home country. She added that she sends money to her husband whenever he asks for it. Last night she received a call from her sister telling her that her husband married another woman using the hard earned money she sent! I was shocked and stood in my place not knowing what to do nor say.
