The 25% raise has brought happiness among the locals
and foreigners. This gift from Sheikh Khalifa has changed
the lives of many people to the better. The only fear
right now is if the business men decided to increase their
sales to gain more profit. People stated their opinions
through the newspapers, radio and their voices were
finally heard. A 24 hour hotline has started operating to
report on any shop that increases its prices. I hope
everyone benefits from this modest gift to live a better
life.
