A couple of years ago, it was odd for a local to be
holding a camera in public. He/She would be given strange
looks as why on earth would they carry a camera around.
Suddenly we had Flickr that soon became part of thousands
of young Emirati's lives. Eventually, photography
was soon accepted as a hobby. Flickr attracted all sorts
of people: the young, the old, the serious photographers
and of course the mentally challenged that desperately
show off. I would like to encourage those beginners to
look at photography at a different angle, explore
experiment and try to be unique. Be creative and always
look deeper into your shots. There are numerous remarkable
youthful photographers who delight us with a number of
breathtaking shots everyday. There is also some helpful
information on how to take high-quality photography for
different shots
here. There is no harm in learning, so let’s help
out each other and make the UAE Flickr community a more
useful place where we can share and learn.
