Topic of Discussion
Lots of people complain
about the loneliness and the lost trust in our
generation. I thought of many reasons why we could have
lost the sense of warmth and friendliness in our
societies. Many people would choose their friends for
materialistic reasons, without looking deep inside the
person they are befriending. To make good friends, one should
also be a good friend. To be there for your friends for
better or for worse, to carry their secrets in the most
confidential way, to lead them to the best and pull them
out of the worse.
The prophet
صلى الله عليه وسلم
said:
((المرء على دين خليله ،
فلينظر أحدكم من يخالل)) A man is on the
religion/pathway of his soul mate, so one should be
careful who to befriend.
