Why Envy the West ?

Topic of Discussion
For some reason, many locals complain how the western
countries are much better than ours from many aspects. We
always look up to the west and envy them for the education
they get, the democracy they have, and so on. As I
socialized with several foreigners from various countries
during my past summer vacation. I realized they envied us
for things money can't buy. They envy the close and warm
relationships we share with our families. The fact that
when we return to our countries after any trip, we are
greeted by all kinds of family members and friends. They
seek the security and safeness of our countries, they work
day and night to reach that goal. We may not have a few
delicacies they enjoy, but we are living the finest life
anyone could wish for. Never forget to always thank Allah
for what you have.
